One designer, focused on shop-ready work.

Two words run everything here: competent integrity.

Competent
Understanding what needs to be done, and getting it right the first time: the setup, the designs, the drawings, all of it.
Integrity
Always acting in your interest: quick, careful work, and only what the job needs.

{{BRAND_NAME}} exists to give growing manufacturers room to say yes. When sales outpace your design capacity, our core work is setting up your own in-house design system: the right software, the templates and standards, and your existing products rebuilt, so your team can scale on its own. Need extra design help along the way, or a partner to build what you've sold? We handle that too. All of it built with competent integrity.

{{BRAND_NAME}} was founded by Nathan Johnson, a mechanical designer specializing in sheet metal, fabricated assemblies, and wood composites and panel products. He works in PTC Creo, SolidWorks, and Inventor, and focuses on one thing: drawings your shop floor can build from without phone calls.

Nathan brings years of hands-on experience in production manufacturing. He's released complex sheet-metal assemblies and new product designs, coordinated the mechanical and electrical sides of the design, and made sure every part met both manufacturability and customer requirements. Trusted with a multi-million-dollar product line, he kept its parts lists and drawing versions organized and current, so the floor never lost a run to an outdated drawing.

It's the same work behind the lead service here: setting up the templates, standards, and version control that let a product line scale. And he's built a reputation for drawings that get approved the first time, because he gets the details right before they ever leave his desk.

Background highlights

  • Rebuilt a line of flat-pack retail cabinets in Autodesk Inventor, turning old 2D drawings into clean 3D models and drawings with reusable templates.
  • Designed a heavy-duty vehicle carriage system in PTC Creo for a defense project, working with the outside shops that would build it, so the design was straightforward to fabricate.
  • Led a NASA-supported project: an autonomous system for watering plants in zero gravity.
